This should be done every 12 months and you shouldn’t ignore getting this done.

- Test or upgrade any boilers
- Test or upgrade any radiators
- Test or upgrade the thermostatic valves
There are several steps to take when installing or upgrading your appliances. So make sure when you purchase your boiler, you are getting the best deal possible. And, did you also know, some providers will not provide insurance on old boilers. Always make sure you check the date on your boiler to see if it will be covered in the repair plan.
One thing I learned over the years, with my own services, is making a habit of reading over my warranty service plan because the terms and conditions could change each and every year. Always keep in mind to review your plan FIRST, and then renew your service care. Some servicing policies may require a maintenance service charge, and they may even offer (for a monthly fee) a variety of boilers. This may be a very good option if you have or want to buy a brand new natural gas boiler.
If you don’t on the other hand, have a brand new natural boiler, it might be very costly down the line for maintenance and repairs. Either way, no one I know likes to be left out in the cold, so periodical and/or annual service or maintenance is extremely necessary. Never try to make repairs to a central heating appliance without the proper training and certification. Remember, most likely you are dealing with natural gas that is extremely flammable. Sparks can fly and so will your entire house if your boiler is improperly installed or if your natural gas line is compromised.
